I love helping clients with…
Organizing and simplifying their financial lives. Each client has a unique financial situation. When accessing their goals, investments, and day-to-day responsibilities, it can be overwhelming for a client to see the forest through the trees. Financial planning allows me to show clients how their goals, investments, and fiscal responsibilities can all intersect into a clear and concise plan, which in turn allows them to confidently move forward in the direction of their choosing. Finally, I love helping clients plan for college, retirement, and leaving a lasting legacy – whether that be to their family, a charitable cause, or a combination of the two.
What inspired you to work in the financial industry?
I entered the financial industry to help people – by helping clients make more informed financial decisions, we can reduce their stress and, hopefully, increase their overall quality of life. Plus, I have always enjoyed working with numbers and people, and this industry lives at the intersection of those skills.
Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?
How a firm treats clients and employees is paramount to its long-term success. The reputation of Dowling & Yahnke precedes itself as a leader in the industry. After joining the Dowling & Yahnke team, it was immediately apparent that our reputation is well-earned.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
I have been blessed to have traveled extensively throughout the world. Some of my favorite experiences have been climbing Machu Picchu, exploring Southeast Asia, and a Safari in Africa. No matter where I’ve traveled, I have found the best way to immerse myself in the culture is through the cuisine and conversation with the locals.
What is your favorite family tradition?
Our three daughters are still young, so we are having fun creating our own family traditions such as nightly walks through the neighborhood, matching daddy and daughter outfits on Father’s Day, summer trips to Pacific Grove, and trying to teach them my love of golf!
What is your favorite hobby?
I grew up playing and watching baseball, but that passion has morphed into a love for golf. I love the challenge of the game, plus I get to enjoy the wonderful San Diego weather while bantering with my friends.
