Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?

I have been in the financial services industry for over 10 years. Once I saw firsthand the culture of D&Y, I knew there was no better place to work. We have an amazing team that work in partnership to deliver unparalleled service to clients. I feel honored to be part of the team.

Why did you become a financial advisor?

The opportunity to help clients achieve their financial goals. It is a tremendous responsibility that I feel honored to have every day.

What is your favorite spot in San Diego?

The boardwalk between Mission Beach and La Jolla. For many years, I have run the boardwalk and feel thankful for the amazing city that I call home.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Anywhere I can snowboard. In the winter, I love to take family trips to the mountains.

Which hobby are you most passionate about?

Golf. I grew up playing the game and love its constant challenge. Considering I love to travel, golf is one of the few sports that can take you to some of the most exotic and breathtaking places in the world.

I love helping clients with…

Multi-generational planning – working with grandparents, parents, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and beyond to create a comprehensive wealth transition strategy for the purpose of supporting current and future generations. The process is collaborative with families and their trusted advisors with the common goal of achieving a successful changeover for our client.

Another passion of mine is working with business owners and their heirs to achieve a successful transition or exit from their privately held company. The process of selling or passing along a business involves significant planning, both logistically and emotionally, and can take years to come to fruition. I enjoy being part of the planning process, specifically providing financial and cash flow models for the purpose of creating a roadmap to financial independence.
