With over fifteen years of experience in the financial services industry, Brett has provided clients with financial guidance in areas including asset management and comprehensive financial planning.
Brett holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®), Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®), and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Washington with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance.
As a third generation San Diegan, Brett has deep roots in the community. Brett currently resides in Del Sur with his wife and their two children. During his down time, he enjoys playing beach volleyball, snowboarding, and golf.

What is your favorite spot in San Diego?
The boardwalk between Mission Beach and La Jolla. For many years, I have run the boardwalk and feel thankful for the amazing city that I call home.
What is your favorite vacation destination?
Anywhere I can snowboard. In the winter, I love to take family trips to the mountains.
Which hobby are you most passionate about?
Golf. I grew up playing the game and love its constant challenge. Considering I love to travel, golf is one of the few sports that can take you to some of the most exotic and breathtaking places in the world.

Another passion of mine is working with business owners and their heirs to achieve a successful transition or exit from their privately held company. The process of selling or passing along a business involves significant planning, both logistically and emotionally, and can take years to come to fruition. I enjoy being part of the planning process, specifically providing financial and cash flow models for the purpose of creating a roadmap to financial independence.
