What do you find most rewarding about working at Dowling & Yahnke?
At D&Y, it is most rewarding to be surrounded by a team of passionate, driven, and talented individuals. I currently serve as the Executive Assistant to two advisors who make every day different and exciting. I feel fortunate to work on a team where I am constantly challenged and motivated to exceed the expectations of clients and colleagues alike.
Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?
I was immediately drawn to the unique culture of Dowling & Yahnke. Coming from a community business bank on the east coast, I had been searching for a firm with similar values; one that puts the interests of their clients and the community above all else. The culture of D&Y is something I believe in, stand behind, and am proud to be a part of.
What is your favorite vacation spot?
My favorite vacation spot is Cape Cod. Growing up, my family and I spent every summer on the Cape and I have wonderful memories of these trips!
What is your favorite hobby?
Dance is my favorite hobby. After training for 15 years at a competitive studio, I had the privilege of dancing for the UNH Dance Company and was awarded the Jean Mattox Scholarship for Excellence in Dance. I now teach advanced jazz and tap at a local studio, where I am also the Assistant Artistic Director. Dance is certainly more than a hobby. It is my passion!
Do you have a secret hidden talent?
I am trained in aerial dance (trapeze, silk fabrics, lyra hoop, etc.). I began training in college as a member of the Aerial Dance Team, and immediately fell in love with the art!
I am happiest when:
I am with my family. It is really challenging to live across the country from my loved ones, and I cherish any time we get to spend together.
