What inspired you to work in the financial industry?
I was drawn to this industry because finances play such a powerful part in a person’s life. Helping others to identify financial challenges and find solutions is meaningful and impactful work for which I get a great deal of personal satisfaction. The dynamic and fast-paced environment is challenging and provides an endless opportunity for me to continue to learn and develop while helping others.
Why did you join Dowling and Yahnke?
I was highly impressed with the quality of the Firm’s team, the high caliber of services provided to clients, and the priority placed on hiring and developing the best employees. D&Y has an outstanding reputation, and I was eager to join the team!
What is your favorite place in San Diego?
I love visiting Sunset Cliffs. The sound of the ocean waves crashing against the cliffs is magical. It is my favorite location to catch the sunset, and you can’t beat the breathtaking views.
What is the best concert you ever attended?
In 2013 I saw George Strait in Las Vegas with my parents and my brother. When I was growing up, his music was always playing in our house. I fondly remember my parents dancing in our living room to all of his greatest hits. When he came out on stage, the energy in the arena was incredible. It was an experience I will never forget.
Can you play any instruments? When did you start?
I learned how to play the piano when I was seven. After a year of consistent practice on a keyboard, I convinced my parents to buy me my very own piano. It was a beautiful cherry wood and my favorite thing in the world.
