Kristin Hughson is a Client Service Assistant at Dowling & Yahnke Wealth Advisors.
Kristin first joined Dowling & Yahnke as an Administrative Assistant. She is now a Client Service Assistant where she aids the Client Service Team in account maintenance, processing forms, and providing administrative support. Prior to joining Dowling & Yahnke, she spent two years in a client associate position at a national investment firm.
Kristin grew up in Oceanside, CA, and lived in New York and Germany for a number of years before moving back to sunny San Diego. She enjoys camping, hiking, and reading excellent mysteries.
What do you find most rewarding about working at Dowling & Yahnke?
The skills I’m learning at Dowling & Yahnke are valuable, not only in my current role, but as I look to further my career in this industry. I appreciate the many opportunities that are presented and look forward to applying all I’ve learned as I continue to grow professionally.

The office culture that is personified at Dowling & Yahnke surpasses that of any other office I’ve worked at. Everyone has gone above and beyond to help me feel welcome. What is your favorite place in San Diego?
I love visiting Old Town for its historical significance and rich culture. The shops and buildings are steeped in a past that teaches us not only about a long-ago time, but also the people who helped shape our city. Of course, the food keeps me coming back!
What is your favorite vacation spot?
Paris! It really is the epitome of quintessential Europe with its picturesque markets, imposing architecture, and international landmarks. The food, the language, and the art all combine to heighten the experience of exploring this fun city.

I’m traveling to a new destination, immersing myself in a new culture and expanding my perception of an environment that is different from my own. The best parts are meeting new people and getting to know a new place through interpersonal interaction.
