What do you find most rewarding about working at Dowling & Yahnke?

The people and the culture. It is inspiring to work with such talented and knowledgeable individuals. It is also refreshing to come to a workplace where everyone works so diligently but is still fun and welcoming.

Why did you join Dowling & Yahnke?

I was hired as an Administrative Assistant at Dowling & Yahnke in January of 2015 through a temp agency. Three years later, I am grateful to have grown within the Firm and now I am working in the Client Service Department.

What is your favorite vacation destination?

Ocean City, NJ. Growing up in Philadelphia, it is where my family vacationed when I was young, and I still make it back every so often for a beach trip with family or friends. It is a fun and beautiful beach town on the Jersey shoreline. Lots of great memories!

What is the best concert you ever attended?

One of my favorite bands, Guster, played a free impromptu concert on the beach of Lake Michigan in Chicago in the summer of 2012, which I attended with my now husband during the time we lived there. It was such a small crowd, it felt like they were playing just for us! At our wedding, our first dance was to one of our favorite songs of theirs, “I Hope Tomorrow is Like Today.”

What was your first job?

In high school, I worked at a children’s gymnastics center. Responsibilities included but not limited to: summer camp counselor, birthday party leader, slide monitor, ball pit sanitizer…
