What do you find most rewarding about working at Dowling & Yahnke Wealth Advisors?
Client service and compliance are held to a high standard at Dowling & Yahnke and is part of what I think makes this company one of the top RIA firms for over 30 years. I find it rewarding to work with such hardworking employees at the Firm that has strong operational processes, resulting in helping our clients improve their financial future.
What inspired you to work in the financial industry?
I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and my degree taught me a lot about human interaction and why we all learn differently. This background inspired me to work in a customer service-based industry where I can educate others on the financial systems and processes that can be difficult to understand. I’ve had the opportunity to speak with hundreds of advisors and clients over the years and find it rewarding when superior service is provided.
What is your favorite place in San Diego? Why?
My favorite place is Del Mar Dog Beach. I am convinced this beach can turn any bad day around.
What is your favorite vacation spot? Why?
I was able to study abroad in Yokosuka, Japan in college (just south of Tokyo) for 3 months. It was an amazing opportunity, and I would love to go back one day, especially to Tokyo Disneyland!
What is the best concert you ever attended? Why?
Rascal Flatts and Dan + Shay. Unfortunately, the lead singer of Rascal Flatts got sick, and the show was canceled the day of the concert. A few hours later, Dan + Shay surprised their fans and announced that they rebooked at the House of Blues that same night. They played a full show for whoever could still attend, and it was awesome getting to see them up close while performing in a much smaller venue.
